Embracing the ideals embodied in the Disability Service Standards, our objective is to provide the leadership and commitment to be the preferred supported employment provider in the areas of specialised packaging, wholesale nursery and gardening maintenance services.

We aim to provide innovative solutions and services in these areas and to generate business activities to enable the growth of workplaces for people with disabilities.

To help achieve our objectives, HiCity have established quality systems applicable throughout the business and have successfully obtained certification to the following standards :

DSS:2004 (Disability Service Standards) which covers the twelve service standards as determined and required by the Department of Housing , Community Services, and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA), the scope being for “The provision of personalised support services in a supported employment environment”

ISO9001:2008 through the British Standards Institute (BSI), for a compliant Quality Management System, the scope being for “The provision of services including personalised support services in a supported employment environment and to perform contract packaging and processing services, garden maintenance and wholesale nursery services”

Our quality system ensures all activities are performed in a controlled and systematic manner, and that the system will be continually reviewed for improvement in these areas of activity for the benefit of our employees and customers.

All staff at HiCity have been involved in the implementation of, and trained in both our Disability Service Standards and Quality Management systems in order to satisfy the ongoing requirements of our workers, staff and our customers.
